What becomes disturbing is the glorification of this, and the beauty that arises from these circumstances, where cities have been left to merge with nature, resulting in mesmerising, other worldly, timeless places. In another sense, nature is taking back what is rightfully hers. Nature versus industrial, or rather the convergence of the two, is a challenge in itself requiring the ability to see beauty in unlikely places: an abandoned building, the derelict or forgotten areas of the city.
